What is pH? What’s Alkaline, Acidic, ORP, and Hydrogen Water?

pH measures how acidic or alkaline (basic) a solution is—on a scale from 0 to 14:

pH 7 = Neutral

pH < 7 = Acidic

pH > 7 = Alkaline

It’s all about the balance between H⁺ (hydrogen ions) and OH⁻ (hydroxide ions) in water.

More H⁺ = Acidic

More OH⁻ = Alkaline

And here’s something important:

Not all alkaline water is hydrogen water.

Even if the ORP (Oxidation-Reduction Potential) is lower, that doesn’t guarantee antioxidant hydrogen is present.

But true antioxidant alkaline water—like Biocera water—contains molecular hydrogen, which helps neutralize harmful free radicals.

Remember:

pH is logarithmic.

A pH of 9 is 100 times more alkaline than a pH of 7!

ORP tells us about antioxidant power.

Hydrogen water = real antioxidant benefit.

Stay balanced. Drink smart.
